Generation Justice: Conference for High School Students
Saturday, May 3rd, 2014 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Bowling Green State University Generation Justice brings high school students from Northwest Ohio together for a one-day conference on social justice. Using primarily a peer-education model (teens teaching teens), the workshops and presentations will focus on skills and information designed to end inequality and oppression.
The conference is FREE, but space is limited to 200 students. Registration includes lunch, workshops, and the keynote talk by Ileana Jiménez. For further inquiries and questions pertaining to the conference, please email [email protected] or use our nifty contact form. To put on a FREE conference for 200 students requires lots of money (about $6,000 to be exact). Please consider making a donation to our conference! *Generation Justice is organized by Dr. Sarah Rainey and the students in CCS 3710: Gender, Race, and Culture in Community Based Practice.
